Superior Man Seminar: Tung

Tung is a guy who’s been in the community for a while and helped setup this great seminar.

Notes

    One thing that’ll help

      - genuine, authentic friends

        i. you can call any hour of the day and they’ll be there

          1. these friends can find you new friends and therefore no more approach anxiety.
4 Things To remember To Bring People Into Your Life

      1. Open

        – Just the moment you’re both aware of existence.
      2. Surface rapport

        – Shooting the shit
      3. Personal rapport

        – Getting to know someone further
        – Characteristics you pick out
      4. Mutual acknowledment

        – You want to continue later, or now
    Practical Tools
    Improv exercises

      1. “Yes, and…” <- go with conversation, if you say “no” or “but” then it’ll stop conversation
      2. Getting into other persons head “So, what you’re saying is . . . (fill in with what person just said) . . . so I (fill it a relating story of yours)” (and go faster and faster)
      3. Say reason why they said what they did . . . “so I will”
When talking with someone pick out noble character traits, talk about them and say “that reminds me . . .”
To learn most, not by reading a book, but by the people you surround yourself with.
    4 Ways Girls Respond

      1. Direct accepting of your approach
      2. Indirect acceptance (i.e. doesn’t want to say, “You’re hot” around friends
      3. Indirectly rejecting (i.e. that was the 8th worst pickup line ever)
      4. Direct rejection (i.e. throws drink in your face)
We hope for direct acceptance, though anything else we assume its #4. Most of the time we get #2 or #3.
