“Sarging” Gone Wrong
By V on Jun 14, 2007 in Practice
Where do I start? OK from the beginning. On Monday Jason, the guy I work with, and I decide to go out and try a few day pickups, just for fun, nothing serious. We decide to do this on Thursday. Well Thursday, today, comes around and I ask Jason what time he wants to go out. He tells me he completely forgot about it and that he invited his girlfriend over. He says we can still do it and that she’ll be cool about it.
We finish work, I get changed and head over to his place. I get there and he’s having some fun with his girlfriend. I meet her, and we introduce ourselves. Nice girl. She wants to know what we’re up to and I’m hesitant to say anything. I look at Jason and he decides not to say anything. His girlfriend is getting upset, wanting to know what we’re up to. I throw it to him to tell her. He decides to tell her that we’re going out to pickup girls. Well she wasn’t too fond about hearing that. She wants to stay home and I welcome that idea. Well Jason wants her to come and be a “wingman”. While she decides to come along, or not, she is throwing out all these shit tests (i.e. making fun of my obviously ugly socks, wanting to see my gold shoes though I keep telling her no . . . ) She decides to come along. She makes it seem that Jason had to persuade her, though I think she was curious.
We get out on to the street and she keeps throwing out all these negative scenarios (i.e. you’re going to get beat up, you’re going to get arrested . . .). Well she is killing the mood and I want her to go back home, as does Jason. We get to a variety store and she finally decides to go back home. By that time I’m out of my “zone”. I kept thinking of all these negative scenarios when seeing an attractive girl. I try to open a girl and end up following her, once I realize that I cut it off and said forget it. We decide to pickup some toilet paper and “Thank You” cards at the store and head back.
When we get back she asks us how many girls we picked up. I intentionally made her mad by joking around that it would be best if she didn’t know how many girls we picked up. I pack my things, Jason and I say our farewells, and I leave him with his girlfriend.
What I learned from this . . . IF YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND YOU CARE FOR, DON’T BRING HER ALONG WHEN PICKING UP OTHER CHICKS, EVEN IF IT’S JUST FOR FUN!

yeh obviously lol .
Well, sometimes a gf could provide you some social proof ;] but if she is being all negative like the one in your post, of course it’s better to leave her home..
