I’ve been thinking. How “lucky” are we to be here right now. I decided to crunch some numbers I stole from a blog.

Fact #1
The average American male will have 6500 orgasms during his lifetime.

Fact #2
The average ejaculation contains 1 teaspoon (4 cu cm) of semen (containing 100 to 550 million sperm).

Fact #3
You, a single individual, were born by entering 1 egg.

Lets be conservative and say that each ejaculation is 100 million sperm. Now your dad will bust out at the most 650 BILLION SPERM! It was you, and 99.9 million other sperm, who were “lucky” enough to be ejaculated into your mothers vagina. And it was you, a single sperm out of 99.9 million other sperm, who battled against all odds to get to that egg.

So you being born was a 1 in 650 billion chance.
