Coffee Date Went Good & Tom Cruise Is Great!
By V on Sep 1, 2007 in Bars, Practice, Ramblings
A quick post before I head to the bars.
First I want to thank Ben, Centric, Wisdom, and Ex-ki for their comments on improving my coffee date experiences. I read your ideas and put them into action. The date I had today was twice as good as the first one. I will write up the experience tomorrow.
On another note. I watched Tom Cruise on Inside the Actor’s Studio. I must say, that guy is THE Alpha Male. I never knew how hard a man could work until I watched that video. For the movie The Color of Money he practiced playing pool 12 hours a day. That is what gave his character competence and confidence. For his role in The Last Samurai he had to be a great Japanese swordsman. He practiced for 8 months, training 3 times a day WHILE filming the movie AND doing research for the role. No matter what anyone says about Tom Cruise, he is still THE man.
I will post the Inside the Actor’s Studio episode tomorrow.
I’m off to the bars!

aside from Tom Cruise’s insanity…I’m forced to agree with you
Put yourself in Tom Cruise’ shoes. He’s obtained everything anyone could want, and he’s still not satisfied. Would you be sane after experiencing that?
He is also someone who gave people what they like; entertainment. When he comes out to express what he likes (Scientology) he ends up being criticized and made fun of.
THAT would make me go insane.

I finally got around to reading The Game, and I was surprised at Style’s “worship” of Cruise… looks like he’s the real deal.
It’s striking how much Style modeled Tom Cruise. You realize it when watching Inside The Actors Studio.

You’re welcome !)
I like your blog, you’re a great motivated guy, keeping going on.
In France (I’m french), we have a small group of self-proclamed “Gurus”, most of them are fakes, and the rest are most of procrastinated frame guys, filled with total admiration for them.
Nobody’s working hard his game, just a communauty of cock fights and ego shit.
Pleasure to see real player with real willpower and improvement thoughts on his game.
A bientôt =D
