Alvaro “Kosmo” Orlando Is “The Master Pick Up Artist”

Alvaro Orlando

Alvaro “Kosmo” Orlando beat out Brady Sprunger to become “The Master Pick Up Artist”.

I was surprised at first to see Kosmo win.

During the final competition Kosmo and Brady had to each teach an AFC in the art of pick-up. They were given a couple hours to give them an “avatar” and teach the basic skills. While in field Kosmo and Brady were able to then coach via ear piece.

Brady did more in field coaching then Kosmo. It may appear a good thing, but it doesn’t. It shows weak teaching abilities.

Brady wanted to dress his guy up so that the new avatar would speak for itself. Kosmo gave his guy all the details on becoming a pick-up artist. While in field Kosmo had to do little with his guy, while Brady struggled with his guy.

Mystery has a business and he only wants the best to keep his business going.

If I had to choose between Kosmo and Brady as a teacher I would choose Kosmo. Kosmo exerts confidence in his pick-up ability and knowledge. Brady just seems too quiet and “weak” to be able to teach someone paying thousands of dollars.

Mystery did the right thing by choosing Kosmo.

I think it was a tough decision. I thought Mystery would pull a “Dana White” and give them both the title.

Kosmo had little confidence in his guy and was more concerned about how it would reflect on him, but in the end, he turned out to be a good coach.

Brady was a much better motivator,it seemed. It would have been worthwhile to see the competition over 3 different guys each, but in all it was a good show.

Kosmo cries too much, but I understand the transformation and desire to win, too. Great job guys!! I loved it.

This show is complete garbage now that the truth is known. Kosmo is a real life actor, not a videogame programmar like the show claims, and Brady is a real life model, not a photographer as the show also claims. What else of this show was staged? What are we going to find out about the two random guys on the finale?

SUCH A CROCK! The show was all about making Mystery money.

Assuming the show WASN’T fixed- V has some good arguements in his defense of Kosmo. Brady is a bit timid and Kosmo does bring more energy to his game, just wish he put more into the helping other guys aspect instead of the $50K

Assuming the show IS fixed, it will hopefully blow over, but right now it just blows. Mystery made a few million dollars (I think the actual number is 2.4)in a year through online marketing. Sales of PUA materials/boot camps could have increased, although I have no stats on that at this time. Television shows like this do raise a great amount of awareness. What I am trying to get at is hopefully this show wasn’t about making the quick buck and there is still some integrity left in the game.

Anyone Agree?

Well, I am quite disappointed to find out that the whole show was just a scripted affair. Nothing is real in reality t.v. ( i already knew that).
What is troubling is that in the script, Super Master PUAs Mystery, Matador and J-Dog, take 8 weeks to train these loosers, and the trained loosers, in 7 hours get two chumps to get pretty decent at pick-up.
The stupid elimination format does not work anymore, what lack of imagination. We didn’t get to see Mystery in action. that is more interesting than the wasted air-minutes in homo-erotic emotional, hugs-and-kisses, shit.

“Kosmo cries too much”

Gee, I wonder why. Lol.

It’s all a facade.

The show was certainly interesting. I had read the book ‘The game’ about 2 years ago and was interested to see how mystery looked and operated Mystery in real life (well..ok on TV) since he was described as such a unique and compelling character in ‘The Game’. While the elimination format of the show is a bit played out i is what viewers ahvr come to expect and it makes reality TV into more of a spectator sport. It’s a bt disappointing to find out that Brady and Kosmo were not as pathetic in real life as they were billed to be, but it goes to show that even ‘losers’ can be complex. Despite the show’s shortcomings and blatant commercialism I am loooking forward to season 2.

if the level to become a PUA trainer is this LOW, i see dark cloud for the future…
c’mon kosmo was decent. and only *closed a girl in dunno how many weeks. 80% of the people i know did much better in the same time…

the show was fake and BAD advertise to mystery ( but we still have to thank him).
respect to lovedrop who kept out this clown show.
