Amping Up The Ol’ Vocabulary

When I started in this game I picked up a lot of books. One of those books was The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova.

The Memoirs of Jacques Casanova is one of Zan Perrion’s favourite books.

I got my copy in the Adult section of a used book store.

When I try to read this book I am befuddled (big word!) with at least one word in every paragraph. This makes reading books such as this VERY difficult.

I have decided to amp up my vocabulary by reading THE DICTIONARY! The Houghton Mifflin eReference to be exact. You can visit the Houghton Mifflin site for a 7-day trial. Add that to your reading list . . . or not.

Reading the dictionary is as difficult as one can perceive. I am plowing through it like I would a set of man-haters.

Well, back to reading my dictionary and then out to the bars. I’ll bring my Webster’s dictionary out tonight for an opener, “Hey, what the Hell is a “montero”?”

V Out!

You can also read the memoirs for free online on a number of sites, such as: http://www.hot.ee/memoirs/casanova/

And yes, Casanova was the man!
