Had to do some shopping today. I like to eat organic and I was all out of it. There aren’t any stores with actual organic food near me, which means I have to use a vehicle to get such food.

I had a couple hours of time open, so I invited a buddy, Steve, over and we shot the shit and watched some television. I invited Steve over in order to use his vehicle to get to the superstore (with the organic food). After we shot enough shit I invited him along for some “grocery gaming”. He went for it.

We got in his car and headed to the superstore (lots of girls). I decided to make a bet that I can get more numbers then him in 30-minutes. I didn’t really want to play any games, but I thought I would make it “fun” for him. I told him we’d meet back at the indoor entrance doors.

We parted ways. I got a shopping cart and begin browsing the aisles, for groceries, not chicks.

I spent about 20-minutes getting my groceries, and had 10-minutes left of the “game”.

I looked around for a decent sized cashier line. Found one at #8. There was a girl working, I can’t remember her name off the top of my head, who was decent looking.

She rang my groceries through and said the ol’, “Hi, how are you”. To which I respond, “What the fuck!?” She looked at me with her eyes open. I gave a smile and said, “Now you’re awake.”

She didn’t get it at first.

We talked about living life and all that jazz. I didn’t have a lot of groceries so she got done her scanning quickly. I held up the line a bit, but oh well.

I scored her number and had a couple minutes to spare before Steve came back. I sat on the store bench with my grocery car.

Well Steve came back with 3 numbers. I was impressed. He beat me. But I left the store with my groceries and a decent number (it would be a solid number if I could remember her name . . .).
