More importantly, hind sight 20/20 its fun. Today in class I asked buddies how was break (1 month long)? "It was too long, got bored, I played beer pong, blah, blah, I was bored ..." I am thinking wow, what if I didn't put my balls on the line and AG all month long. This guy would be me. I'm thinking break was too short, I wish every night was Friday night, I wish break was another 2 months, I love going out alone, no more boring nights, I feel really independent (I now understand how V can not need/want a GF). Stick to it and you will love it. It seems hard but with the attitude of “fuck it/ me against the world/ I will fuck up for 2 years straight then move cities, I’m too young to not make a fool of myself” its not bad. I'll admit I had a REAL hard time with this area when I first started. In fact, it's still hard for me to go out in the evening if I don't have a friends around. I enjoy walking so its no problem since its a 20 minute walk. Also, it gives me time to think. And girls don't give a shit that I have no car, they are attracted to me, not to my belongings. So I proudly tell girls I have no car and its a good disqualifyer. Yes, the "fuck it" attitude, this really is needed when alone gaming. If I get any anxiety about being alone, I take a mental check in and tell my self: "Its me against the world". Any other attitude will fuck you up. Look, I dont PUA to win any awards for being a kind, friendly, suplicative, quiet, nice person. I PUA to fuck hundreds of women. I am out and about because it is me against the world (It really is. AMOGs, friends, AFCs, HBs, they all want you to fail, well, until they see how cool you are). In truth, I have a lot of allies that scream my name in joy when they see me downtown. Due to many nights of being social with the regulars, bouncers and bartenders. My big sticking point is talking to sets inside. The bars in my area are wanna be clubs, the music is loud as fuck. My game is often dependent on listening to something said by a stranger and then going in and owning the set. When its so loud I find it hard to start an interesting thread. I think I need to do more side sets like V mentions. Pick up is different than Natural game. Pick up is more like chess.
