Barrett-Jackson

While I get ready to go out I’m watching Barrett-Jackson Classic Car Auction of SPEEDtv. Right now a “blue chip” 1968 Mustang muscle car is selling for $75,000 . . . no $77,000 . . . “HEY!” . . . no $80,000 . . . “two two two” . . . $82,000 . . . “SOLD for $82,000!”
Friday’s auctions have nice cars, but the weekend auctions bring in the true prize cars. It’s good to see the lower class cars (i.e. Bel-Airs and Hot Rods) go to decent people who’ll enjoy them. When you get to the more expensive cars (i.e. Corvettes and Shelbys) then it’s hit or miss to whether the buyer will actually drive ‘er. When you get into the millions of dollars (i.e. concept cars) then it’s guaranteed that they the cars will be put into a museum.
Why do guys even buy these classic cars? To bring back the good ‘ol days that are “lost”, and to know what you have something that few people have. So you get mixed feelings of excitement, comfort, and pleasure.
It’s sad to see guys spending thousands, if not millions, for feelings. Are they so brainwashed that they can only attain the simple things, feelings, externally? Yup.
An AAR Cuda just went for over $100,000 . . .
There’s no changing these guys unless THEY want to change.
While working on your game make sure to work DAILY on getting everything you “desire” internally. If you don’t then you’ll be a fat slob bidding on old cars
The cars are shiny though . . .
OK I gotta comb my hair and head out to meet some wonderful girls. Wonderful girls are waiting for you too, so get going
