I replied to a comment left by Dimitry. My response provides some insight on how I look at picking up and having relationships.

Here is my take:

the first one is easily solved: have both, and don’t tell your gf. Men are built in a way of having a girl for regular sex, and keeping variety on the side. Call me immoral? a lier? a woman would do the same to you if she found an amazing guy that appealed to her “emotional connection”, and she will lie to you and justify it with her “bullshit generator”. so why can’t we do the same?

the second is also easily solved: while you are young, fuck, fuck, make money, and fuck some more. get married later. in your 40s? 50s perhaps?

now..why is this good? several reasons:

1. by the time you are in your 40s, you will fuck many many chicks, and have plenty of experience on how to handle them.
2. you will have developed your career, and have money. this will give you access to more women. Worried about women robbing you of your money? establish something BEFORE marriage and make it yours. i think that if you establish, say, a business before marriage, women have no claim to it.

3. marry a younger woman. younger than you by 10-15 years or so. remember, out of all the pick-up literature, women are emotional, not visual. it’s us, guys, who need hot women. women need “caring and kind” men. and they will go for you because you are already wordly, lived an interesting life, you take care of yourself, so you are not fat or anything, AND you fucked so many hot women that you (sort of) “got it out of your system”. (of course, i am not saying you should stop fooling around once you are married, if you feel like it).

4. why get married in the first place? well, i think that once you get older, and go into your 60s and 70s and so on, i would like to think that there is someone out there to help me if i need help. and i think there is a link between marriage and longevity. i mean, old men who are lonely, die earlier.

so, to recap: marry older, till then live adventurous life, make something BEFORE marriage, and ensure it’s yours. marry younger woman (much better for you lol) and marry purely out of survival instinct to not be alone when you are old.

When you say relationships vs. fucking different chicks and marriage vs. single life you’re saying you can’t have both, but why can’t you?

First, I don’t just “fuck” different chicks. Fucking just helps the ego. I like to have SEXUAL RELATIONSHIPS with girls.

You consider marriage to be like the following definition:

A marriage is an interpersonal relationship with governmental, social, or religious recognition, usually intimate and sexual, and often created as a contract.The most frequently occurring form of marriage unites a man and a woman as husband and wife. …

I consider marriage to be more like this definition:

A close and intimate union; “the marriage of music and dance”; “a marriage of ideas”

I’m not ALWAYS around a girl (a marriage), so you could say that I have moments where I am single and moments where I’m in marriage.
