Staying “Awake”

When I started going out to bars and clubs I would constantly think. The result of that would be me standing around all night. My standing around was due to my MANY negative thoughts.

I’m not sure why my thoughts are, for the most part, negative. Maybe it’s the fact that I was a pain as a child and “authority figures” would constantly tell me, “Think about what you did wrong.”

I’ve come to see my thoughts as a hindrance to my goals.

When you think all the time you realize that you have nothing going for you except thoughts. If you did have something going for you then you’d be totally focused on the objective at hand.

After spending over a year studying pickup material, upwards of 16 hours a day, I decided that I was confident enough in my knowledge of the art. I stopped thinking, and started doing.

The illusion was removed from my eyes and I woke up to reality.

Reality isn’t material or spiritual. It’s just an idea.

The past is a memory and the future is just an expectation. Neither past nor future exist. there is simply the eternal now.

When you figure all this out you can manipulate people who are living an illusion, which most people are.

To find a woman who has “woken” up is a difficult task, especially in the 18-24 range.

Maybe that’s why I go through girls like they’re nothing. … For the most part the girls I find are nothing; they’re just bodies living an illusion.

I’ll probably have to go to a Yoga convention to find girls who are truly awake :)

(Note to self: “Yoga Conventions”)

Great post…very significant stuff here. Do you care to go deeper with your concepts of those living an illusion, and those awake?

how can you judge the girls that they are nothing?
you probably didnt spend more than 10 hours of time totally with them before you fucked them. and during that time, you are actually only applying “patterns” so you can get into her panties. at the same time, she is reacting to your “patterns”, which is absolutely normal thing to do. But neither of you go into any “deep” conversation, because that would ruin everything.

so how can you recognize some girl, who is “truly awake”? apart from the possibility she is some eastern religious chick.

This post leaves me feeling confused because I think that I cant imagine living in an illusion. I understand being uncomfortable, and being in your zone. I can understand negative thoughts, I cant understand living an entire life as an illusion though. Which would mean nothing is real? I couldnt imagine this.

It seems that even PUAs are effected by the concept of “wanting that which they don’t have”…

Wonder if V would feel the same if he would find that girl who is “truly awake”…

Why not have a go at awakening a few of those who haven’t?

Fantastic. This is the way it is, and I’ve resigned myself to this too. Not just women, but the people in general who are “awake” are far and few between. What a breath of fresh air it is to find one though (and I do find them once in awhile, often in the strangest of places, often because I’ll open almost anyone, just for the hell of it). The funny thing is, there’s an “awareness of being aware” in oneself, and you can delicately feel it in others. When I meet one, they know that I’m awake as fast I can perceive them - makes for some very good conversations (and sometimes friendships)…

i know V is a smart person from reading from his posts. There are many good things in this forum that i enjoy reading, but sometimes i feel this material dehumanizes women and ourselves (men). he referred to women as nothing in this article, and women along with men deserve a chance, i feel he has something towards women…which makes me wonder if V is living in an illusion

I am not a servant of God, i am trying to be a servant of God.
